The dragonfly possesses fantastic flying skills: As swift as an arrow it can change direction, hover motionless in the air or even fly backwards if it is necessary. The dragonfly lives in two different habitats during its life: Its existence starts in the water as a larva which reaches for the sky after its pupation but always stays near the sea it was born in.

This pendant is made of Sterling silver embellished with precious amber. Sterling is also called 925 Silver and consists of 92.5% silver and 7.5% other metals. Its name is derived from the Sterling coins that were used in Great Britain until 1920 and which consisted of exactly the same silver alloy. Because of its high quality it is the most frequently used and most popular silver for the production of jewelry.
