This enchanted symbol, an ancient secret of this sacred land, holds the key to magic transformation: The bat Hana Pu is one of the magic guardians of the land and is able to travel as a messenger between the visible and the invisible world. Furthermore this bat is said to have the ability to see ghosts and the spirits of the dead. This pendant shows "The Nocturnal Bird drinking from Blossoms" hovering at night from flower to flower without creating a single sound.

This pendant is made of pewter embellished with silver and one glass crystal. Pewter is a shiny, soft metal which is very malleable and has a good tarnish resistance. Artists and craftsmen used pewter quite early (dinnerware, sculptures, household articles, pewter figures, jewelry) and hence pewter jewelry has a long tradition. This piece of jewelry has been enhanced by adding a silver coating over the pewter core and was embellished with one prominent glass crystal.
