Shri Yantra - Pendant

According to Indian teachings the Shri Yantra symbolizes the divine power which caused the formation and evolution of the universe and our world. In the center of this meditation pattern a highly complex arrangement of nine superimposed triangles can be found. Five of them are pointing downwards standing for the elements of water and earth the other four are pointing upwards and symbolize the elements of fire and air. So the Shri Yantra contains all the elements building up the universe thus incorporating the entire creation. The inner pattern of this pendant is surrounded by an eight- and a sixteen-leaved Lotus Flower, which according to Indian tradition elevates and converts the energies of the Yantra. Thereby this talisman attracts wealth, wisdom, peace and luck and at the same time protects against negative energies, dangers and illnesses.
 
This pendant is made of brass and copper. With the exception of gold copper is the only colored metal and just like silver and gold it is classified as a precious metal. The brass, a copper zinc alloy, is responsible for the yellow golden parts of this piece of jewelry. The copper on the other hand is used for the red golden parts and is particularly suitable for the jewelry production due to its softness and malleableness.
